Please note that the irc java-applet has been digitally signed with a test-certificate and your browser might complain about that. (you'll have to trust me, but I don't feel like spending another $200 for a code-signing certificate ;-)

Make sure to activate the channel window (just click on the button '#Linux4BE' at the bottom of the applet)

Sorry, but you need a Java 1.1.x enabled browser to use EIRC.
